My top four recommedations of things i've done are to go to a 'full-moon' (purnama ) temple ceremony.
I think there will be a full moon the day you arrive but check with hotel staff. Hotel staff can also advise you on suitable dress code and even show you how to wear the sarong correctly according to your gender and tie the sash.
The ceremonies at Jagatnata Temple in Denpasar can be huge. It's easy to grab a taxi from Sanur to Denpasar, i've done it a few times.

If you like art museums and would like to visit Ubud for a day, the Don Antonio Blanco museum is fantastic.

For spectacular rice terraces it's worth going to Sideman for a day, and perhaps stopping off on the way at Tirtagangga water palace for a really refreshing swim in spring fed pools

Another day trip you can do is to the Bali Aga village at Tenganan near Candi Dasa
