Anyone done Mel Sing Dps

Got super cheap airfares Melb Singapore for the first week of March and for $150 each on AA can fly Sing Dps Sing. Has anyone flown this route before and how shattered were you on arrival?
Melb Sing leaves lunchtime and arrives in Sing at 4.50 pm then a 2.5 hour wait and arrive DPS just before midnight.

Wondering if it is worth doing for 3 days in Bali or do we stay in Singapore for the whole 5 days (never been before)
