glad he was able to get compensation..I witnessed a young(about 13!) aussie lad hit the side of a car car in traffic ..and he took off (with several mates as well)leaving the car owner screaming at him to come back and deal with this problem..felt so embarrassed to be aussie right then..I guess this kids parents hired the bike for him..no shirt , no helmet, no shoes...guess they dont care much for him, as well as his sense of responsibility...
