first I felt extremle nausia and was given Maxalon (sp) for that but still got worse. 2 days later I was red and itchy all over (found out after the event that it can make you sun sensitive) but more worryingly my lips and throat were swelling. I can only describe it as similar to what people with a peanut allergy get except whereas theirs' would be sudden and possibly fatal, I got the same symptoms but slowly worsening over 2 days. I did not sit or lie in the sun but had only walked 200 metres down Poppies 1 and back and the rest of the time was in the back of the car going up the island). I stopped taking them (of course) so don't know what the eventual outcome would have been but I was feeling very ill and sort of agitated.
