That is why i am more cautious in talking about the fast boat service than i was before it sank!

I had one eye on the rear exit and one on the life jackets (pinned in a net above your head ) the whole time that seemed nowhere near enough for all given many at the rear had to sit on other peoples laps.

When the motors stopped on our return trip we drifted for at least 25 minutes and came perilously close to the rocks Bali side, at one point almost got caught in the huge breakers, what worried me was the radio didnt work and the crew were trying to use their mobile phones instead.

The crew were saying "dont worry just rubbish in one engine" But when they got them started again i could see the dials at the driving end and only one was working out of 4.

Going to Lembongan in a few weeks on the Tanis villas speed boat,I know thats small so i will be insisting on using a life jacket all the way if rough.
