Never hired a driver and....

need some advice. my daughter and I are arriving in Bali the middle of Feb we have transfers on arrival but need a driver to take us shopping and touring. I have been told to take taxi's but they wont wait for me and I'm not sure of the availability of getting one back to Hotel after shopping.Can any one help with a nice honest and reliable driver?
