Hi, we have 2 smaller boys and then an older teenage boy so I've often had to book rooms for this size group. A great website to look at for ideas on which hotels will allow this is www.qantas.com.au and look under the 'Book' tab and then select hotels. Most of the other accommodation websites won't let you put in more than 1 or 2 kids when searching for 1 room. Q lets you put in the 3 kids ^17yrs.

The teenager doesn't always come with us but I've had a look back at the photos from which trips he did and checked what hotels we stayed at.

Jayakarta Private Apts - Once in 2 x 1 brm adjoining apts and another time in a 1 brm apt that had a set of bunks in the lounge area.

Bali Garden Hotel - this was in 2 x adjoining rooms. NB. What I did in the above 2 situations as the littlest was quite young, I totally blocked access to the other room by 'tying' up the doors so they couldn't be opened. Left a note on the o/side of the BGH door so the staff knew to access both rooms from our side. (no doubt someone will suggest this was a safety issue perhaps in a fire but you gotta do what you gotta do to keep em in! The middle one is an escape artist)

Dynasty - not my favourite place to stay now and very expensive but I still believe their family rooms are the best in Bali. Separate areas of 1 qn bed, then in the next section a set of bunks with a trundle bed underneath. Beautiful rooms. 2 x tv's and DVD player.

Febri's - have large family rooms. Don't think the teenager stayed with us but am pretty certain they will allow another fold a bed in there. Large rooms with 1 qn and 2 single beds.

Patra - Deluxe suite. Teenager was booked and paid for but didn't come. Has separate sections where you can close off main bedroom.
Sofa bed opens up into a bed for the kids in the lounge room. Would have been tight if the teenager had come but could pretty easily fit in a fold a bed. 2 x tv's and a DVD player from memory. We got a really good price for a week there but I've noticed it's nearly doubled from what I paid.

Hard Rock Hotel - we are off again in 2 wks and staying here for the first time (said I'd never stay here but came down to price & availability when I booked). There weren't many options when I booked for 5 in a room and thru Qantas I got a 'Loft' room here that has 2 x qn beds downstairs and 1 x qn bed upstairs.

Sorry for long-winded reply. Hope that helps somewhat!
