Please excuse all spelling and grammar. I am writing this while I am here as even with good intentions find it hard to publish report when I get home and am depressed.
Was due to fly out on the 1/1 with Garuda but did not eventuate due to a fuel leak on the plane so did not fly out until late on the 2/1 but did a whole lot of sight seeing that I would not have had the chance to do and spent New Years Eve in Sydney.
I am travelling with my 17 year old daughter, this is a combined 18th birthday present and 50th for myself. We arrived at our hotel on the morning of 3/1 totally exhausted was so glad we booked transfers and hotel through travel agent this time as they followed up things for me and I had to do no phoning around.
WE are staying at GV Cottages at Legian and was very apprehensive after reading some of the reviews as it is about 6 years since I have stayed here but the rooms are cleaning the air con works, yes there are tiles of the bottom of the pool and the lounges are sad but bought my own blow up mattress and very comfortable for laying around the lounge.
Have had the mandatory massages, facial and only been here 2 days but they are great.
Have eaten at Posers, Tropical (Great atmosphere) and Made's Warung at Seminyak.
These first couple of days we are resting up as we are exhausted but look at doing bike riding, cookery, white water rafting down the track.
Thanks for the reader who gave me the Ketut information and picture it was excellent and we found it no trouble at all and bought some great things but also new how much to spend else where to share the love.
Hope this is not to boring, will post again when I have the chance.
