If you buy any electrical item other than duty free you cannot get gst back because your living in Australia you pay gst, unless you have an indonesian or overseas company.
Ipods are an apple product and are covered by warranty anywhere in the world as long you have proof of purchase.
With the Aust $ so high it is conciderably cheaper to buy Apple products in Bali . as inport duties here are lower than in Australia.
Go to a reputable dealer in Bali as in Remo denpasar has a good dealer.
