I gained this information from the forum for our trip in July as need a year 12 formal dress made...we plan to check out these places and see how we go...good luck with it...I cant wait to see what is on offer!
"My granddaughter had a formal dress designed & made by Red Curve. Her name is Octavia & she has studied design in Sydney for 2 years. The dress was fabulous. Coming from Kuta turn left into Jl Benesari & you will find it on the left hand corner of the cross roads. Bali Brasil is behind it."

"Yes it did include the fabric but if you don't like what they have in stock I believe there are fabric shops over there I think called alto mode or something like that. I was quite happy with the material as it was nice and light weight which suited my daughter as it is really warm weather in formal season.lol M
The shop is in poppies 2, just as you enter from the memorial site it is on your left not far down from the corner. I'm sorry I lost the card which had the address on it. It's called Liza's tailor and is only a small shop. I had to look at all the signs on the ceilings outside each store to find each time as I have a bad memory. Hope this isn't to confusing for you. it cost 400,000 rp which at the moment is even cheaper."

"At the beginning of the week we went straight to the tailor as my husband wanted a suit made up and I wanted a formal dress for my daughter made up After reading on this forum we went to Janoko in Poppies 2 for the suit and they sent us to Lizza's just up the road in Poppies 2 for the formal dress. Both tailors did a magnificent job considering they made the dress from a photo and I just took my daughters measurements from home .When we got home and tried the dress on her it looked stunning. These people are so talented it amazes me."
