don't understand about problem with Tuesday being the last day you'd accept for sheets to be changed? How often do you expect them to be changed, and how often do you change sheets at home?
Some high-end and budget hotels i've stayed in try to cut down on water usage ( and i suspect labour costs) by asking guests as an 'environmentally friendly' gesture to remove the sheets from the bed, and put towels in the laundry basket when guests want them changed.
