I will never forget the Balinese people i met in 2006 who lost their jobs working in hotels due to a massive downturn in the tourism industry at the time.
But they survived because they still had a family home they could return to, water, and a rice-field they could farm.
I wish I Made Mangku Pastika all the luck in the world with his plans to, "pressure the provincial government to implement a moratorium on villa and hotel construction." He's going to need it.
