You've heard very differently to me re the terms of their captivity.
Studies have shown dolphins in captivity whistle more to communicate the presence of food than wild dolphins do.
I don't think it can be presumed by us that the Dolphin Lodge dolphins are "singing" because they are "happy and healthy." It could be for any number of reasons because they're a very vocal mammal. They make noises when navigating, herding, warning of danger, hunting, feeding, imprinting a signature whistle on a newly born calf, calling for help, when meeting other dolphin pods, etc etc
