Our friend had her baby last year. Knowing that whatever she wanted for her baby could be bought in Bali a lot cheaper. We bought a lovely Baby card in oz and put $100 in a red envelope in the card. They do keep things very basic for their bubs. The most popular purchase in Bali was good quality nappies at Carefor (spelt wrong)for trips out. The little cotton undies are popular as they go through so many as that is all they wear at home and mishaps are just whipped up and new undies put on. The only thing I did take were bonds singlets in different colours which he wears all the time.
