well, first of all, there is in fact 2 clinics on gili t! one in in villa ombak's shops area, there is a doc on hand 24/7, i went there 2 times for an infection in my foot and th doc cleaned it for me, he was orginally from java, spoke perfect english, was very professional, and price was cheap!
fast boats, welo, depends on time of year and the sea as to a smooth or bumppy ride. i have taken the "gili cat" and " eka jaya" and 'mahi mahi" and the new one called "wahana". in my honest opinion, gili cat is by far the most professional run operation, they have life jackets, rafts, and give a saftey breifing b4 u leanve the dock! some of the other boats are a bit nicer lookin, but gili cat has a hull to take on the seas and smooth the bounce a bit! if the sea is big, you could be on any boat and it will be rough! if u do not get sea sick normally, i do not believe it should be a problem providing the sea is calm! nd that my friend, is up to the gods! good luck, have fun!!
