Hi there girls, apparently they don't use keratin in Bali yet but while I was getting it done and couple of girls walked in for a massage and one was a hairdresser and we got talking and I told her I was getting my hair chemically straightened and she got a surprised look on her face and I said, yeah ok you wouldn't take the risk, she more or less said yes wouldn't recommend getting done in Bali. The guy that was doing my treatment, Aditya (sorry not sure of his western name, maybe Johnny) mobile 081 319 31 66 97 showed her the product he was using and the contents are identical to keratin. She said that she will now recommend if anyone asked her. She also said that she would not even be able to get it done as cheap as Bali at cost price in Melbourne. My hair when left after washing is totally disgusting, not curly just extremely frizzy, seriously dry and damage looking and absolutely can not be left in it's natural state, now after washing it's more than presentable and the frizzy, dry look has gone. I still use the straightener occassionally, just for the finishing touch, about 5 minutes. I got mine done on my last day because you cannot get your hair wet for 3 days. They say it lasts approx. 1 year so hey, good excuse to go back............ Sorry for waffling on, hope all this info helps. ps. Aditya does not speak or understand English very well but there is a girl in the spa that and she understands and speaks as well as any aussie. Sorry forgot to mention, booking is a must, Aditya does job share and not in everyday. Took about 2 1/2 hours.................
