To be honest we were disappointed. The previous year we had been there every day for breakfast and many other meals and had a great time, which was why we booked for this year.
However, there is building work happening 7 days per week for at least 10 hours per day next door. The rooms on that side of the hotel are the worst effected and those with open bathrooms and no hard doors to bedrooms (such as the master room of the family suite) basically have no protection from the work site at all.
Prices for meals and drinks is higher than other places within 50 metres and the standard of service in the restaurant (and the cooking quality) have declined.
The rooms are tidied each day but are not clean. The quilt cover was not changed once the entire 19 nights we were there, sheets are changed every second day and they are very spare with the bath towels.
Obtaining a towel for the pool gets you a scowl and a sigh like it is too much effort and the pool has tiles that cut deep enough to make you bleed (especially in the baby pool). The sides of the pool could do with a good scrub too.
There is no handover with staff at shift change so nothing you tell them is passed on (an example was my husband and small daughter trying to get some sleep before flying home - there are no "do not disturb" signs and most staff do not have a passable understanding of English - I pleaded with the receptionist to make sure that they were not disturbed by housekeeping, only to be told when I got back that 1.5 hours later housekeeping knocked on the door and rang the bell until someone answered).
Overall, will not be staying at Adika Sari again as was certainly not a good fit for my family (and the family room is very tired, in need of repair and the stairs and other bedroom are not suitable for smaller children) and with the room rate increase that they advised is happening next year will not be the cheaper option (room price only) that it has been in the past.
