8 years ago mind you, of course it is a different holiday to what you had prior to children but we still enjoyed it. Our son was 9 mths old on his 1st trip. I thought it was easier with a baby than when my daughter had her 1st trip at 22mths.
My son was a bad sleeper and I think he actually slept better in Bali, he was having a 2 hour sleep on a pool lounge under an umbrella each day. We stayed at the Dynasty as we were travelling with a large group and I don't think there was any issues re noise and my boy had a set of good set of lungs (still does lol. As for changing sleep routines on their return home, I figure babies are constantly changing their routine anyway.
