Returned Sunday after three weeks in Bali, the longest holiday there so far. Feeling rather worn out at the moment but thought you might like to see what we did (besides drinking cocktails and staying out late).

My mate pubgirl and I travelled with Garuda - as usual well looked afer, fed and watered frequently. Airport was chaotic, crowded with several planes arriving at the same time. With lots of pushing and shoving, on our part, we were out within an hour or so. Part of the Bali experience we figure. And there is our transport. Fantastic oh you are sorry that air con not working never mind were are HERE!!

Off to our accomodation where we were greeted like long lost relatives. Isnt it fantastic that with all the tourists that go to Bali throughout the year the staff remember us! Nothing to do with two inebriated women staggering home late at night frequently singing out loud Red Red Wine, or on the back of a bike stilll singing!! Or the sign on our door do not disturb that remains there for the entire three weeks.

Throw luggage into room and head out. Where to first? Massage or to Nero for a cocktail? Massage wins- ah the Bali massage is like no other! Don't let their body size fool you, these girls are strong!!They leap onto your back and "streeetch you". I cry the girls think I am so happy - but it is the pain of 12 months of untouched muscles that has me shedding tears. After an hour of torture (joke, they are good)we head to our fav hangout Nero. More tears of happiness, ours for the first sight of many Nero sunset cocktails to come, the staff knowing that their working day will never be the same for the next three weeks. Several cocktails later we are again singing Red red wine and after many "you eat ladies" figure we should eat. A few more a pizza and its bed time. We started nearly every day there with a cappacino.

If you ever get to Nero say hi Gede, Gede Benny and Isna and tell Donna and Kathy from Melbourne said hi.
