We stayed in November last year and had three rooms between our group of 11. Two executive apartments and one standard apartment. One executive apartment was great but the other only had one tv which was not a flat screen as advertised. The standard apartment was invaded by ants and our cousins had to be moved. They were happy with the second room though.
We enjoyed the townhouses but not their location. We usually stay in Tuban and found the Poppies lane area a bit too full on for us (must be getting old!!)We also found the walk out to Poppies 1 or 2 or Legian St a bit hairy with the kids as there are a lot of scooters etc using the gangs. We had to make this walk though to find taxis and getting back there weren't many drivers who wanted to take us to KTH. That being said if we could have picked up the townhouses and moved them to Jl Kartika in Tuban we would have been set.
This is just my opinion and I know there are people who thrive on the hustle and bustle of Poppies (as I do in small doses) I just prefer the more open feel of Tuban.
Have a great trip - I honestly belive a holiday is what you make it. Look for the positives in everything and you'll find them. The same can be said for looking for the negatives.
