We went into denpasar, as you go into denpasar you pass the dunkin donut intersection. just up on the left is the Handphone Shop (big sign) Paid 10000rp for sim any carrier. Top up with credit usually 50 to 100k RP and off you go. You need to provide identification as all sims need that after the bali bombings, the ones you buy of street vendors for 50 to 100K Rp use their own id. Also go there to top up if necessary. Also a good place to buy handsets outright bought 2 for our kids with simpati sims which work here in Perth under optus network. for about $40Aud
