We used it early hours 3 weeks ago.
I have not flown domestic for over a year so not sure if liquid limits have been introduced on domestic flights in Oz like some other countries? If it hasnt then you can carry your duty free as part of your onboard luggage on the Melbourne leg.I have done this after flying from Sydney to Perth after an international holiday and the airline didnt count the Duty free as "Extra" to our carry on limit.
