was close to Bemo corner (opp side to where it is now), Bukung Sari was a dirt road and there were security guards and the end of the Kuta art market before you got to the beach there was some sort of "bar" they lifted to let you through. Motor bikes drove on the sand and you could climb on Tanah lot!
