motorbike premium A$15 each indicates on page 9 of their brochure that you are covered if you... whilst in control of a motorcycle, you hold a licence valid in the relevant country (either international motorbike licence from your oz motorbike licence or obtain a 30 day tourist motorbike licence in Bali .... will let you know how we go getting one for the son (will be back mid November), son will be going with a local to the Denpasar office of whereever??), also have to be wearing a helmet, not racing and engine capacity of 200 cc or less. I've just passed my oz motorbike licence this week, so will be getting International car and motorbike licence before we go.

If you cannot get a tourist motorbike licence over there you really have to weigh up the risks.... saying that I let our son learn how to ride a motorbike when he was 16, while staying a week on Nusa Lembongan, not many cars there, but care needs to be taken with gravel on some of the roads.
