Firstly, I have now booked and had confirmation of accomodation, to pay in full on arival at Three Brothers, not my first choice but nothing else available anywhere for our dates.
Last year had to put on hold our holiday with accomodation booked through ABL Travel due to illness. They sent an email saying they would hold the credit for 12 months, less 1 night booking fee.
I contacted them at least 2 weeks ago asking to have the credit used and book us in somewhere with it. Their answers to any suggestions were "already fully booked". I tried unsuccessfully to explain they already held our money without success after finding accomodation they were agents for that was available. Still no luck.
One agent emailed me he would show his manager my email, asking for help to sort this out.
Last friday I emailed all details with reservation codes, credit codes etc and followed up with faxing the copies I had of the original bookings and the credit documents they emailed to me.
Still no reply over that.
They place I have had acomodation confirmed at ABL Travel do bookings for as agents.
I would like some advise as to do I continue to persue ABL Travel from here to use our credit to pay for our accomodation, or take all the documents with us and ask the manager where we are staying to contact ABL Travel on our behalf and try to sort it out? Would we be better to go to their office after we arrive with the documents and try demanding our money back then?
