excited! I always get my $25 US before i leave, its simpler and adds to the excitement of the holiday (plus one less thing to worry about)The banks like ANZ are good for getting the US25 and their fees are less than money changers at home.

Just after you pass customs you will be beckoned by many money changers in booths, all of them are legit and quite honest, the rate is a little bit but not much less than you will get on the street.

I would suggest you only change up $100 at the airport so you dont get confused with all them millions as apposed to thousands of Rup if you change too much at once. (plus it wont fit in your wallet or purse)

Dont change money at home or home airport and dont be fooled by money changers in Bali offering a much higher rate than others, unless you are a cross between a mathematician and a magician/illusionist and you will still end up loosing, just a bit less than the rest of us :)

Go to www.Oanda.com and search for their credit card sized + reverse currency converter chart its a life saver. It doesnt matter what others say Oanda is the best and easiest,i have been using it for Asian countries for over 7 years.

There are circle K shops everywhere for quick previsions late at night like milk bottled water beer Coke nuts Ritz Cheese filled crackers ,yummmm(bit like 711 stores in Thailand)
