1. Pay for VOA and receive Receipt.

2. Move to next counter - present your Receipt - one half is removed
- full-page sticker placed in Passport - second half of receipt
returned to passenger as proof of payment.

3. Proceed to Immigration Control for clearance and stamping of
Passport - happily no Photos or Fingerprints (for the moment at
least.

Step #2 has now been eliminated as there is no longer the sticker attached and occupying a full-page of your Passport.

Once purchasing VOA you now take your receipt DIRECTLY to Immigration Clearance to have your Passport Validated and Stamped as proof of entry - second half of receipt is returned to you with Passport.

One DOWNSIDE to this is that Passport only shows date of ENTRY into Indonesia. The passenger must now calculate the 30 Day duration of the VOA themselves and ensure they do not overstay and incur penalties.

Still, great news for multiple-repeat travellers on VOA into Indonesia as their Passports will last so much longer.

I hope that this clarifies the situation as I see it.

Cheers..... Les
