Stayed 11 nights in an Ambassador Suite Block A at KP
& loved it. No smell or cleanliness issues for us.
Excellent rooms for a family.
Friends stayed in S & SG block they to had no dramas
The only complaint for me would be breakfast is not great but
we liked to try little places for breaky so no biggie.
Sorry to hear the smell of your room & dirt around the pool has put you off this hotel. But your right it is in a great location with many other hotels in this area but they mainly are more expansive.
