Yeah I have a friend staying there at the moment she's covered in the bites. They have sprayed her room but there is no way of knowing whether they will get rid of them or not. The problem is that bed bug eggs aren't affected by pesticide so there must be follow up treatment for as long as it takes to break the cycle. Another thing is that they can get in your luggage and clothes and move with you to your next destination. Recommended treatment for clothes is washing in hot hot water or drying in a hot dryer. Calamine lotion/ice to stop the itching. Personally I don't go to Bali without my trusty tea-tree oil which is a great antidote to cane mite bites or any insect bites - it might also work with bed bug bites, as would lavender oil I think.
