If i were planning a trip to Bali in October right now i'd probably be feeling pretty confident about going there.
I've been trying to access a document online about a study that was done, "Do Terrorist Arrests Deter Terrorism?" including backlash after arrests, (Pakistan not Indonesia ) but so far no luck finding the whole document.
Here is part of it if you're interested and you might have more luck finding the whole doc. than i did.
