There are arrests of terrorism suspects here in Indonesia but only prominent names such as Abu Bakar Bashir who receive coverage in International Media.
Right now the main thrust reported here is directed at Government and disruption of Independence Day activities at Presidential Palace - also Embassies and International Hotels in Jakarta (where security is incredibly tight). Bali doesn't seem to be a real "priority" for them at the moment but of course nowhere is ever 100% safe - and not just in Indonesia either.
Only you can make the decision regarding your travel plans but Bali is still enjoying record arrivals from overseas.
