We have stayed at the paradise plaza suites many times with our now 13,10 and 4 yo since our eldest was 16 months. We love it there and find the staff and facilities great.
Unfortunately on our second last trip there our then 16 month old fell head first out of the cot and onto the concrete tiled floor. They provide like most bali hotels non aust standard cots and they are easy for the little ones to escape. We learnt our lesson and will never use a balinese cot.
My husband swiftly went to the baby shop and bought a portacot which we then used for our remainder of our stay then gave to our balinese friend.
We will be going to bali next year with our 4th child who will then be 16 months and will either be taking our own portacot or buying/hiring one for the duration of our stay.
Nappies and food is easily bought at hardys in central sanur. Have not bought heinz food there before as usually take our own from aus.
We usually take our own layback pram to bali and take the wheels off for the plane flight as the baggage handlers can be a little rough. We take a sunshade and mossie net for the pram, baby wipes(although when u run out they can be brought easily), toddler sunscreen and toddler mossie cream. Each night before we go for dinner we spray the room with fly spray and close up the curtains and we have never had a problem with mossie bites.
Dont take many clothes as you can stock up big at the department stores with some really lovely clothes.
Apart from that have a great time and enjoy...
Bali is a great and easy place to holiday with kids and im sure youll have a ball.
