we are a family with children aged 6 & 9 - accommodation is very clean we stayed in the two bedroom - fan was enough as it is much cooler than kuta. Pool is small but clean, they get massage ladies in for you and they are fabulous. Breakfast was scrumptious and served when you are ready on your balcony - also very happy to cook up noodles for kids - good mid sized fridges with freezer - take in your own supplies - fridge comes full of beer at reasonable prices. A couple of warung like cafes and two better ones with the fancy french restaurant a short distance away - if you want a splurge - take a torch as dark at nght. All the locals are very friendly - some great walks through fields, and spice farms - 1km up the rd to the village - pass on way in, that has medical centre, hairdresser, corner store etc. Great night market with the best satays. Great layed back scene take a book only one guy that sells Balian hand printed T-shirts and that's it for the shopping. Local way of life - slow and happy.
