how much walking you intend on doing. I had a Phil and Teds and found it fantastic around Kuta (and I have seen heaps of people using them there too!) 'cause the kerbs are huge and the P&Ts big wheels can handle them easily - even with two on board. We found those umbrella strollers more trouble than they were worth cause they were so much hard work with the kerbs and roadworks. And as you know the Phil and Teds can safely handle a lot of shopping hanging off the sides(not like the stroller)and can restrain two kids so you only have to worry about the third one in busy traffic. However not so easy to fold up and jump into the taxis quickly. Because we could easily transport the kids on foot when shopping we didn't use them often. So it really depends what you want to do when there. You could also consider hiring something when you are there if weight is a concern.
Just make sure if you do take the P&T that you take off the wheels when you check it in - my friend left hers on and they got squashed in the cargo hold! Covered by travel insurance but she couldn't use the pram on her holiday 'cause couldn't get replacement wheels!
