some of the comments on here are a joke...
so what is acceptable behaviour in bali?
and who on this forum sets the rules for bali...
I am in my late thirties and having been going to bali since I was twenty.
I do agree you should where a shirt into resturants and for that matter any building in bali.Yet these same people are happy to take your money then talk behind your back.
We talk about people not wearing helmets yet I see more Indo's not wearing helmets then tourists and some of the worst offenders for not wearing helmets are the expats that now call bali home.
There are many things we wouldn't do in Australia yet people do when they go to bali.I am sure alot of peolpe on here are happy to walk around the streets with a bintang or such in there hand in the middle of the day.So who on here does that at home? Who on here rides a scooter at home without a bike licence ? Who smokes in resturants at home ? the list is endless.
The older people are just as bad as the young when it comes to bad behaviour..last week I was in Kuta steakhouse where there was about 10 older Australian(50+) men all wearing singlets all smashed off the nut being the biggest bunch of arseholes to the female staff who just laughed. They staggered out, all got on there scooters with no helmets and speed off and no young person in sight..once again the list is endless..sadly we only see what we want to see...
so if we are all perfect great but if not then maybe we should all stop being hypocrites until we are all perfect..
