Well been back a week now but feels longer? Travelled with air asia and no problems or gripes with them, other than very slow check in on return flight from Dps, 1 guy must have been over weight with his surfboard, this took about 35 mins to sort out, he then had to go pay excess and re-join the queue... all up 50+ mins to check in??? flights good and more or less on time.
We arrived to a very full immigration hall and waited over 1 hour to get through, but those behind us would have had much longer!!!
arrived at accommodation to find that I had mistakenly booked the wrong dates (oops) and wasn't expected until the following day, luckily for us the previous guests had checked out early!!! Hubby had a migraine so this was great relief at 11pm. Had a great first week, then got email to say one of our cars which was in at the repairers would cost $4600 to fix!!! Next I find out our daughter was rushed into hospital at home, my new car was rear ended when my son was taking clothes to said daughter in hosp! the next day my grandson had motorbike accident!!! it didnt stop there either - a friend who was staying in Legian died suddenly.... this was quite a trip!! good news is cars are fixed or sorted, Grandson not injured, only his wallet! and daughter now home.... going back to Bali in 10 weeks but this time with a bit of trepidation.....
