Who in their right mind would enter a bank without a shirt on in their own country let alone a restaurant. I go to Bali alot and I think its disrespectful full stop, not just to the Balinese. We have lots of Balinese friends and they have said the same sort of thing to us too. Its not only Aussies as you say but unfortunately a few have spoilt our reputation over there.
