Sure - they will take all batteries from you.
I got my laptop battery taken plus batteries for two hand phones were removed and taken. The batteries for my two cameras went as well. They even wanted the battery from my electronic wristwatch but as they could not open it, they took the expensive watch away. Plus the un-opened bottle of Cointreau in the luggage going to the hold disappeared when they were in confiscation mood.
Bali has its own international rules, specially invented to line the pockets of the officials at the airport.
So Bali is really improving as a destination - not. The place nowadays sucks!
