Tuban would be best as its close to the boats that take you out to the reef breaks and walking distance to kuta shopping
Legian is also good area but surf not so good can only surf on high tide and closes out over 4 to 5 foot
another option for a few days is a villa in bingan area overlooking surf cheaper accom in this area may not suit baby hope this helps
