Hi, it is always a difficult decision trying to book accomodation as you had such a great time the last time you were at bounty and as there are new people in your group you are hoping that the vibe hasnt changed and they too will have a great time. Me and a mate stayed at the Bounty (my second time, his first) in June and I can assure you it was still the same party hard or go home atmosphere! Which suits some and but not others. I am 35 and my mate 25 and we both had the time of our lives. Our room was in the west wing which is at the back of the hotel (above second pool) and the room was ok (wasnt expecting Hilton standards), aircon was cold, toilet flushed, shower was good and beds very comfy. The atmosphere of the Bounty is in my opinion what sells the place...We started with a party of two and ended our trip with a party of 20 people from all over Oz, America and Canada and have made some long time friendships I am sure. We had that much of a great time at the Bounty we are heading back for another round in October this year and most of the 20 are returning. The hotel is great but we also liked the central location of the place as well as we were able to work straight out the front and within a few short minutes we were either at the beach or in Legian street heading to dinner or a discoteque to party the night away. I have not stayed at the Satriya and I am sure each hotel has their own pros and cons. I just know that I had such a great time everytime that I stay at the Bounty and therefore, wont fix something that isnt broken. They only downside is that the pool back pool could do with cleaning as some of us had sore eyes for a day or two. Enjoy your trip next year. GOTTA LUV BALI!!!
