all the staff are smiling and friendly, any questions or requests just ask and they will do their best to help you. Internet connection is available via cards that are purchased at reception and can be used with your own laptop in reception or dining area via wifi.
The area is very central, just down the lane is 2 laundries at the intersection, s small warung that does a fantastic nasi goreng or cap chay for 10,000 rupiah each, eat there or takeaway, no english spoken here. Out the laneway and turn right towards the ocean, you have a sim card/phone shop on your left, keep walking towards the beach and you get the back entrance to Matahari, you can see Gloria jeans from here also and get free internet with your drinks, go upstairs for computers and airconditioning and a view over the beginning of Kuta square. Money changers can be found in Kuta square or Matahari's.
Turn left out of the Ida laneway and you'll see the Tunes hotel, carry on to the end of the laneway. look towards your right and you'll see the sign for Un's restaurant, thats a shortcut to Poppies lane 1.
Have your hair done at Romy's opposite the laneway to the Ida, also.
