Re: Ku De Ta - yes, it is so exey but brekky is a good deal. On Sundays they have a kids morning where the staff occupy & play with the kids while their parents have a lovely leisurely indulgent brekky. About AUD$25/person & well worth it any morning.
For DVDs you could try a place a bit further south of Discovery - about a 10 min walk. Upstairs over a mini mart - a huge place with an aircon section at the back. 16 for Rp100K & usually good quality.
