I have never been sick in 27 trips to Bali, but in saying that, I do take the usual precautions with hygiene and wash my hands constantly.
We always use bottled water, no matter what country we holiday in.
Also, I NEVER put my head under water in the pool, no matter where we stay. This is mainly due to having dud ears, but also the thought of all thos people who don't get out of the pool for a wee puts me right off!
