The kids pull down beds are in a foyer sort of room that is separated from the main room by a very thin 'wall' with a sliding door. It's more like a floor to ceiling screen than an actual wall though. If you're not using the pull down beds, then there's usually some lounge chairs and a coffee table in the entry/foyer area.
There is only one bathroom to be shared. It's relatively large, but still only one bathroom.
While the cottage suites are big, depending on the kids ages, I would think adjoining superior rooms are better value because you get the two bathrooms, two TVs, two fridges etc. If your kids are quite young, that may not be an option for you though.
