Doesn't mean that much for the normal tourist, but means alot more for the local people. You will see lots of red and white flags and street celebrations in some towns and villages. In the past, there were action movies put on TV such as "Surabaya 1947" and "Merah Putih" would be the latest addition to these I am assuming.
