When we stayed at the lodge there we negotiated to be collected from the Legian Hotel we stayed at when we first arrived in Bali. We pointed out when we rang to arrange it that the driver would actually have to go less distance. The transfer was part of the booking cost and we decided we wanted to use it rather than pay a driver to take us there.
They did agree, and the only problem was that they wanted us to be a bit flexible about pickup time. From memory it was about an hour later than our checkout time, because they tied it into their driver dropping someone off to the airport.
