Their price guarantee is true. They do have to beat it and no you don't have to book your accommodation through them. They will tell you you do but I promise you that is not true. However keep this in mind, if the travel agent is taking a loss by beating the price that comes out of their pocket! They don't have to pay it back as such but any commissions they make from future sales will go toward that loss until it is cleared before they get the money in their hand. At least that is how they use to operate a few years back when my fiance worked for them. Personally, I'd prefer to just find the cheap flights myself and get rid of the 'middle man'.
