Hi Trayden,
We've just arrived back from 3 weeks in Penang. I read that tap water is safe to drink in some areas of Malaysia but not in others, and that other than "too much chlorine" in Penang's tap water, it was safe to drink. We drank the tap water, and brushed our teeth in it. No gastro upsets at all.
