glad to hear you enjoyed Amed & the Puri Wirata. Don't worry, I'm not going to say "I told you so" about the villa versus the hotel rooms LOL.
I really wish I'd made it to the Aquaterrace when we stayed at Blue Moon, my hubby & stepdaughter had lunch there the day we were leaving BM but my little girl had fallen asleep on one of the comfy cushions in the BM restaurant so I stayed & had lunch there. Sounds like I really missed out - I LOVE Vietnamese chicken salad!!
Like your wife, the thing putting me off returning to Amed is my little one & the windy road - she was car sick on the way to Blue Moon. We almost made it, only 100m down the road & I ended up wearing her garlic prawn lunch :o( I didn't exactly arrive in style LOL.
If you enjoyed Amed I think you'd also like Balian (although it is not a swimming beach). May be somewhere to file away for a future visit :o)
