Coming from the UK myself, Lloydstsb charge £2 per withdrawal, if you consider this option. Always take a spare card or two though in case you lose / break your one. The exchange rate isnt too bad though.. i was getting 12950, when the official rate was 13100. Back up to 14000 now.. and hopefully will get back up to 15000 where it was in feb. (too much to ask for it be get back to 19000, like it was when i first went 3 years ago)
As for taking Pounds with you.. shouldnt have any problem at all, you will get much better rate with a money changer - just be carefull.
Your £750 converts to roughly 10,500,000 - so about a million a day between the two of you. Its enough - depending on your plans though. You wont be able to do loads of trips on that budget.. also depends on what you plan for nightlife.. i often spend 300 / 400k per night in bars etc.
